Introduction of Car Radiator Installation Location

Car radiators function as a water storage and cooling system. The radiator is the main part of the cooling system, designed to protect the engine from damage caused by overheating. The working principle of the radiator is to use cold air to lower the temperature of the coolant from the engine. The radiator belongs to the cooling system of the car. The engine's water-cooling system consists of three parts: an inlet chamber, an outlet chamber, and the main panel and radiator core. The radiator cools the already heated coolant. When the tubes and fins of the radiator are exposed to the flow of air generated by the cooling fan and the movement of the vehicle, coolant in the radiator becomes cooler.

Car radiator installation location

Car radiators are mostly installed in front of the engine and fan. Its function is to increase the cooling area and accelerate the cooling of the coolant. In order to quickly remove the heat generated by the radiator, a fan is installed behind the radiator to work in collaboration. The working principle of the car radiator depends on the water temperature, engine load, and signal transmission to the computer. The engine computer controls the fan's speed-relay. Meanwhile, the air conditioning pressure affects its performance; the air conditioning computer receives the air conditioning pressure switch, indoor and outdoor temperatures, and other signals. It then sends a total signal to the engine's computer. The engine receives this signal and controls the compressor and the fan relay. When the air conditioning pressure is influenced by the environment and the air conditioner's increased use, the engine computer receives the air conditioning computer signal. It controls the high-speed fan relay to operate at high speed.

When starting a car, the amount of heat generated is sufficient to cause damage to the car itself. Therefore, a cooling system is installed on the car to protect it from damage and keep the engine within a suitable temperature range. The radiator is the main part of the cooling system, designed to protect the engine from damage caused by overheating. The working principle of the car radiator is to use cold air to lower the temperature of the coolant from the engine. The radiator consists of two main components: radiator fins made up of small flat tubes and a overflow tank (at the top, bottom, or both sides of the fins).

The car radiator needs to be cleaned regularly

The role of car radiators in car devices is not just limited to cooling. Please note that while cleaning the water tank and radiator cover with a high-pressure water gun, do not spray water directly onto the engine as modern cars use electronic control fuel injection systems with the engine compartment containing the engine computer, gearbox computer, ignition computer, multiple sensors, and actuators. If you use a high-pressure water gun to wash it, it may cause a short circuit, which can damage the engine computer.
